Refund and Returns Policy

Scentful Things Refund & Return Policy

At Scentful Things, your satisfaction means the world to us. Each candle is lovingly hand-poured and thoughtfully inspected, but if something isn’t right, we’re here to make it better.

Return & Exchange Window

You may return or exchange any unused candle(s) within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unused and in original condition
  • In their original packaging
  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase

Exchanges

We’re happy to replace any item that arrives damaged or defective. If that’s the case, please contact us with a photo of the issue, and we’ll guide you through the next steps.

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Used candles
  • Custom orders or personalized products
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable digital items

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you to let you know if your refund is approved. If so, a credit will be applied to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Missing or Late Refunds

If your refund hasn't appeared after 10 business days:

  • Double-check your bank or credit card statement
  • Contact your payment provider
  • Still no luck? Contact us and we’ll help.

Gifts

If your item was marked as a gift at checkout and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive store credit for the value of the return. If the gift was sent to the giver, we’ll issue the refund to them.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Not In Love with Your Candle?

If you're unhappy with your scent choice but the candle isn’t damaged, let us know. While we can’t refund used candles, we may offer store credit or a one-time discount on your next order. Your experience matters to us!
